Our Marine Grounding System SEK-3 is designed in accordance with state of the art technology in explosion protection and offers the highest level of safety for marine grounding. The design of SEK-3 combines different protection types. The device can be opened in hazardous areas, e.g. for fault diagnosis or the exchange of cables. The newly designed Marine Grounding Clamp creates a safe and stable connection to the vessels to ensure a safe filling process. Moreover, SEK-3 has a variety of control outputs, e.g. to connect further status displays.
SEK-3 is equipped with clearly visible signal lights. This leads to clear indication of the operational status. Two additional LED signal lights within the Marine Grounding Clamp show the operating status directly to the operator at the attachement point. An effective error diagnosis system with 9 LED lights is located inside the housing.
HIGHEST LEVEL OF SAFETY
SEK-3 is designed in accordance with the latest standards related to the European Explosion Prevention Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX) for operation in hazardous areas of zone 1 and the international standard IECEx. Because of the durable stainless steel housing (protection of enclosure IP 65) and the extended operating temperature range from -40 °C to +60 °C, SEK-3 is well suited for operation in rough environmental conditions.
